Polyshe Double-Sided Deshedding Brush

The Polyshe Double-Sided Deshedding Brush has two working surfaces built into a single ergonomic handle: a stainless steel pin side for working through tangles and loosening dead undercoat, and a natural boar bristle side for finishing and distributing coat oil. Using both in sequence gives a better result than using two separate brushes because the boar bristle side finishes the coat on the area you just worked with the pin side - you move through the session in one direction without backtracking. The FSC-certified beechwood handle is shaped with a thumb-rest indent on the back face and sits securely without requiring a tight grip, which matters over a 15-minute grooming session.

The pin side uses stainless steel pins at 18 mm length set into a flexible rubber cushion base - the cushion allows the pins to follow the contour of the body rather than staying flat, so they make better contact on curved areas like the chest and hindquarters without applying more pressure. The boar bristle side uses natural bristle set at two lengths (12 mm and 18 mm alternating) to catch both surface coat and the finer undercoat layer. The handle is finished with a plant-based oil coating, not lacquer, which gives grip when hands are slightly damp after a bath session.
